چکیده

In this manuscript, we will describe and highlight the most important potential underlying mechanisms of action inhaled sodium ibuprofenate in hypertonic saline formulation-NaIHS aerosolisable, as a probable adjuvant treatment for moderate severe pneumonia coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19)-associated acute respiratory distress syndrome COVID-19. both pathological entities, refer exclusively to pulmonary vasoplegic type following therapeutic effects NaIHS: anti-inflammatory, immunomodulatory antiangiogenic. The synergistic these anti-inflammatory together may exert their at level through possible reversal vasoplegia thereby restore hypoxic vasoconstriction, correcting uncoupling ventilation/perfusion ratio intrapulmonary shunting and, above all, it reverse hypoxaemia failure. We also mention virucidal NaIHS on syndrome-coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). There are available three retrospective observational studies COVID-19 pneumonia, carried out Argentina, with all concluding that there was significant reduction mortality. conducted approval Institutional Review Board National Bureau Economic Research Harvard Columbia Universities, which analysed data from 5146 patients concluded reduced mortality by 48.7%, although randomized clinical trials still needed confirm emerging enable rise new treatment. Conclusively, deem essential reuse known drugs, such ibuprofen, COVID-19, due constant emergence variants subvariants concern secondary mutations immune escape (SARS-CoV-2), since effective medical treatments currently scarce many them controversial or not worldwide.

Preparation and Characterization of Stable Nanoliposomal Formulation of Fluoxetine as a Potential Adjuvant Therapy for Drug-Resistant Tumors

Chemotherapy research highly prioritizes overcoming the multidrug resistance (MDR) in human tumors. Liposomal formulation of fluoxetine, as a fourth generation chemosensitizer, was constructed and characterized for percent entrapment, release profile, morphology, particle size, zeta potential and stability. Liposomes were prepared using different active loading techniques. The influence of diff...

Non-steroidal Antiinflammatory Drugs (nsaids)

The non-steroidal antiinflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) are widely used for the treatment of minor pain and for the management of edema and tissue damage resulting from inflammatory joint disease (arthritis). A number of these drugs possess antipyretic activity in addition to having analgesic and antiinflammatory actions, and thus have utility in the treatment of fever. Most of these drugs express th...
